About the Program

In July 2026, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) named Clark University as one of five awardees for its Pay-for-Performance Incentive Payments Program.

The program supports the expansion of Registered Apprenticeship opportunities in critical industries and provides payments to eligible Registered Apprenticeship sponsors to incentivize the growth of high-quality Registered Apprenticeship programs on a national scale.

Administered by Clark University, the Information Technology Apprenticeship Incentive Fund (TechXcel) serves as the information technology sector initiative.
